Tai Chi Study Group / NY Push Hands Club
|
Several of us (some not subscribed to Meetup) meet most Sundays and practice friendly push hands, which can be quite vigorous, or relaxed and classic if you prefer. We also do the Yang short form of the Cheng Man Ch'ing lineage, as passed on by his students, and Stanley Israel and his students. In general we have fun with tai chi in an informal setting. Any style of internal or external art is welcome, tai chi or not, beginners too. Note: if you are new, and not on our email announcement list, please call (212 973-0273) or rsvp, on occasion we cancel. 1017 - 6th Ave (Ave of Americas) 3rd Fl Enter on W. 38th - SW corner. We're considering starting another group for beginners and soft stylists, please contact us if you're interested.
